We're very excited to share these special songs with you! Through a close collaboration of talented songwriters, musicians and parents we created these heartfelt songs inspired by families living with autism.
Although they represent the specific experiences shared by parents, many of you will relate to their sentiment. The goal was to create real songs about the real lives of families living on the spectrum. Several of the songs were actually co-written by parents!
Our goal isn't to present the facts about autism; there are many websites that are great resources for that. We want people to better understand the human perspective, not the medical one. We want to create change about how autism is perceived in our society beyond those directly affected and decided that music was an effective way to do that. We invite you to listen and hope that these songs will inspire your support for the work done by the many caring people in programs across the country who are helping children with autism and their families.
